Vehicle Sticker Deadline: Arlington Heights Village Stickers Due by January 1, 2014

Arlington Heights residents are reminded that the 2014 Arlington Heights vehicle sticker can be purchased by the January 1 deadline by using the mail-in renewal form that was mailed in October, online by clicking here, or by stopping in at the Finance Counter on the first floor of Village Hall, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road.

All vehicles registered with the Illinois Secretary of State to an address in Arlington Heights require a valid Village of Arlington Heights vehicle sticker. Applications must be submitted to Village of Arlington Heights Finance Department.

The sticker must be displayed on the passenger-side of the front windshield of all vehicles by January 1 to avoid penalties. Stickers cost $30 each per passenger car; $12 for seniors over age 65 (limit one per family); $12 for residents with a valid State handicapped plates, permanent placards or disability certificates (limit one per family). 

If purchasing the vehicle sticker in person, Village Hall is open M-F,  8 a.m. – 5 p.m.. Village Hall will be closed on Tuesday, December 24 and Wednesday, December 25 in observance of the holiday. Village Hall will re-open at 8 a.m. on Thursday, December 26.

Another option for purchasing the 2014 vehicle sticker is to place the renewal form and payment in the Drop Box located on the north side of Village Hall, adjacent to the Arlington Heights Road exit of the Municipal Parking Garage. Vehicle stickers will be mailed to residents who deposit their payment in the Drop Box.
