Bad Extrication Crash On Eastbound I-90 Near I-294 And O'hare Causes Backup Past Arlington Heights Road

2:57 PM Friday ENTER ADDRESS. A bad crash on eastbound Interstate 90, just west of I-294 has caused a backup past Arlington Heights Road. Some vehicles are going down the wrong way down expressway ramps at Arlington Heights Road.

Rosemont firefighter/paramedics and Illinois State Police and the IDOT HELP trucks responded about 1:35 p.m. to a crash that involved a taxi cab into a guardrail near Mile Marker 77 3/4 on eastbound I-90. The taxi was reported to be tangled up with the guardrail and hanging half way down the embankment. Rosemont firefighters worked and extrication operation that involved removing the guardrail from the vehicle.

Eastbound I-90 traffic was backed up past Arlington Heights Road at 3:00 p.m.
