Car Hits Wall Of Building On East Davis St At Us 12 And Arthur Ave, Arlington Heights
Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:16 AM Wednesday to a car crash with a building at Davis Street and Arthur Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a car drove southbound directly across the Union Pacific railroad tracks into a building on the south side of Davis Street. The driver did not get out of the vehicle and was rescued and transported by Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics. No extrication was necessary.
The crash victim was transported to Northwest Community Hospital. The extent of the injuries are unknown, and it is unknown if a medical issue proceeded the crash, if the crash was DUI-related, or if the driver was simply driving to fast for conditions.
The roadway was not snow-covered, but air temperature was only 3 degrees.
No word on any arrests, charges or citations.
