Purse Snatching At Grocery Store On Milwaukee Rd, Just South Of Dundee Rd, Wheeling
Wheeling police responded about 9:28 AM Sunday to Fresh Farms, 20 South Milwaukee Avenue Wheeling, IL. Police received a report that an offender grabbed a woman's purse and took off in a green Chevy van with duct tape over the license plates. 234 remainder unknown
The offender was described as a male/while, age 30, wearing a brown stocking cap with a black stripe, green army jacket, blue jeans and black gym shoes.
The offender was last seen driving the van southbound on Milwaukee Avenue.
The crime is reported to have occurred at about 9:25 a.m. Sunday.
