Residential Burglary On Luther Lane, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 2:31 PM Sunday of a residential burglary in the block of 1300 North Luther Lane Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized a residence in a short amount of time while the residents were eating lunch at a restaurant.

The victims left at 12:45 p.m. and believe they accidentally left their overhead garage door open. When they returned the garage door was open. A foot print inside the interior garage door was discovered after the residence was inspected for signs of entry. There were no signs of forced entry. The residents checked the residence and determined there was jewelry missing.

An 18-inch gold chain rope valued at $50

An 18-inch gold chain with green and blue of unknown value

An 18-inch gold chain with a heart and pearl(valued at $100)

Two 18-inch gold rope chains of unknown value

A credit was also reported taken.

A pink-colored ring box with a white satin lining (valued at $5)

A gold ring with emeralds valued at $250

An amethyst gold ring valued at $75

A gray-colored ring with two pearls $500

A brown silver serving box unknown value

The crime is reported to have occurred on Sunday, February 2, 2014 between 12:45 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
