Chicagoland weather radar shows Lake Snow Effect at the lake shore along the central and south side of Chicago, Cicero, Oak Lawn, Hammond, and Gary. Up to one inch of snow has been reported near the Lake Michigan shoreline and in these areas. The area of snow drifted southward, and a Special Weather Statement was issued at 6:46 a.m.
The next chance for precipitation in the northwest suburbs is snow with accumulation of about one inch falling from 7:00 p.m. Monday until 6:00 a.m.Tuesday.
