Lord & Taylor Hit By Jewelry Burglar Early Morning Before Opening At Woodfield Mall, Schaumburg
Schaumburg police responded about 5:00 AM Thursday to a report of a burglary or activated burgary alarm at Lord & Taylor at Woodfield Mall, 42.044568,-88.038823 (4 Woodfield Mall Schaumburg, IL). Police received a report that Lord & Taylor was burglarized early Thursday morning.
Apparently, video surveillance picked up an image of the suspect. The suspect is described as a male/white, 5'6" with a stocky build, wearing a stocking cap.
The crime is reported to have occurred at 5:00 a.m.
Lord & Taylor has exterior doors, but it is not known at this time if there was forcible entry at an exterior door or an interior door ... or if the subject hid in the store at closing time.
