Hoffman Estates, IL police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:30 PM Monday to a report of crash with injuries at Higgins Road and Beverly Road Hoffman Estates, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that vehicle ran a red light and caused a crash. One vehicle went off the road into the forest preserve.
Hoffman Estates Engine 24 crew reported the crash involved entrapment and upgraded the crash to an extrication crash.
One patient was transported to St. Alexius Hospital in Hoffman Estates.
