Water Rescue Response For Car In A Swimming Pool On Longmeadow Ct, Barrington Hills

Barrington Countryside firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:08 AM Thursday to a report of a car in a swimming pool at 5 Longmeadow Court Barrington Hills, IL. Firefighter/paramedics reported a car submerged in the swimming pool with everyone out of the water and out of the swimming pool by 4:19 a.m.

One man, believed to be the only person in the vehicle, was transported to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital as a precaution.

Barrington Countryside firefigther/paramedics activated a change of quarters box alarm.

Initially firefighter/paramedics from Buffalo Grove, Carpentersville, Cary, Fox River Grove, Lake Zurich, Palatine, and Wauconda were called to assisted Barrington Countryside firefighers about 4:15 a.m., but apparently not all were needed to respond once it was confirmed that no additional people were trapped inside or under the car in the pool.

Change of quarters assistance was requested at about 4:45 a.m. to standby in Barrington Countryside district to cover the community for any additional calls. Firefighter/paramedics from Countryside, Round Lake, Rolling Meadows, and Streamwood responded to the call for mutual aid.

Police are investigating the crash. There is no direct route off of a highway without obstructions that would facilitate this type of crash. The nearest roadways at the back of the house are separated by large fields or wooded areas.
