Electric Lineman Receives Electric Shock While Working On Elm St Near Willow Road, Prospect Heights

Prospect Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:47 PM Sunday to an electric shock victim at 304 Elm Street Prospect Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that an electric lineman working in the area received an electric shock.

Firefighter/paramedics received a report that the lineman was up in a bucket, but was able to get to the ground before firefighter/paramedics arrived.

The patient reportedly walked to the ambulance on his own power and was transported immediately to Northwest Community Hospital.

This morning about 300 customers remained without power in this neighborhood near Elmhurst Road and Palatine Road.

At the time of the reported electric shock, ComEd's outage map reported less than five customers were without power, and ComEd reported an expected restoration time of 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 7.
