Attempted Child Luring Involving Dodge Dart With Pennsylvania License Plates Reported Near Pioneer Park, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 4:31 PM Tuesday to a report of possible attempted child luring near Pioneer Park, 500 South Fernandez Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that a District 25 student was confronted by a stranger while walking near Pioneer Park on Tuesday about 4:30 p.m.

A police report was filed with information that a Dodge Dart with a Pennsylvania license plate pulled up to the student and asked the student if he wanted a ride home. The student replied "No" and the driver sped away in his Dodge Dart.

The driver was described as a male in his 50s with gray hair and a beard. There was no description on whether the suspicious person was white, black, Asian or Hispanic, etc.
