Criminal Damage To Festive Lights For A Second Time At Harmony Park At Vail Ave And Campbell St, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 12:01 PM Monday of criminal damage to property at Harmony Park, Vail Avenue and Campbell Street Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders criminally damaged festive lights at Harmony for the second time within a few days. Unknown offender(s) cut the strands to 192 lines of lights. The cost of the damage is $1920. Also, two perennial plants, valued at $30 each, were reported stolen in the time frame of the second incident.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Friday, October 17, 2014 at 12:00 PM and Friday, October 24, 2014 at 10:15 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime is reported to have occurred is 166:15 (hours: minutes).

The previous crime at the same location was reported to have occurred between Wednesday October 15, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. and Thursday October 16, 2014 at 12:00 p.m.
