New Zip Fitness Opens At Arlington Plaza At Rand Rd And Arlington Heights Rd Across From Trader Joe's, Arlington Heights
Zip Fitness opened a new fitness center Monday, December 8, 2014 in Arlington Heights at the Arlington Plaza Shopping Center at the northwest corner of Arlington Heights Road and Rand Road.
Zip Fitness is a franchise fitness center with a very large amount of cardio equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, bikes and more. The fitness center also has strength equipment, weight machines, free weights and large stretching and core strength areas.
There is not much chance that Zip Fitness members will have to wait for a cardio machine.
Amenities include locker rooms, showers and tanning. Zip Fitness is located on the north side of Rand Road, just west of Arlington Heights Road.
Zip Fitness joins a large number of fitness centers in Arlington Heights to meet the demand. Xsport Fitness has two locations in Arlington Heights -- one on Dundee Road near Ridge Avenue, and one on Golf Road, just east of Arlington Heights Road.
Fitness 19 also has a facility on Campbell Street near Wilke Road in the Westgate Shopping Center.
There are also several personal training studios, such as Commuter Fitness on Northwest Highway just west of Evergreen Avenue.
