Report Of Shots Fired Near Algonquin Pkwy And Weber Dr, Rolling Meadows Sunday Afternoon
Rolling Meadows police responded about 4:01 PM Sunday to a report of shots fired at Weber Drive and Algonquin Parkway Rolling Meadows, IL. Police received a report of shots fired. Witnesses reported a tip on The Cardinal Facebook page that several police squads and were on the scene. One witness reported seeing tape up around an area near the apartments.
One third-party report to The Cardinal -- Arlingtoncardinal.com stated that "a pop" was heard shortly before police arrived in the area.
Rolling Meadows police report that they were either unable to locate the source or the offender was gone on arrival of police.
The crime is reported to have occurred about 4:01 p.m. Sunday.
