Crash with Injuries on SB Route 53 Between Woodfield Rd and Higgins Rd, Schaumburg
Illinois State police and Schaumburg firefighter/paramedics responded about 2:25 PM Tuesday to a report of crash with injuries at 42.042177, -88.030898 SB Route 53 and Woodfield Road Schaumburg, IL). Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of a crash involving a semi-trailer truck on southbound Route 53 near Higgins Road.
The crash was reported to located about across from Maggiano's on Route 53. One vehicle was reported spun out in the wrong direction.
Two ambulances responded to the scene, but no people reported immediate injuries at the crash. At least one person signed a medical refusal form.
A traffic backup extended to about Algonquin Road by 2:45 p.m.
