Belmont, Binny's & Blackhawks: Celebrate American Pharoah's Triple Crown Try in Style at Arlington

Arlington International Racecourse will give fans the opportunity to participate in a true trifecta Saturday, offering a chance to witness racing history in style Saturday when presenting Binny's Taste at the Track alongside a simulcast of the $1,500,000 Grade I Belmont Stakes. Following live racing and the Belmont simulcast, Arlington will remain open as Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals will be shown on televisions in Mr. D's Sportsbar.

The Belmont Stakes will provide Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes winner American Pharoah the chance to become racing's first Triple Crown winner since 1978. American Pharoah finished fifth in his career debut in August 2014 but has since rattled off six consecutive victories, including five Grade I scores. Since Affirmed's 1978 sweep, 13 horses have proven victorious in the Derby and Preakness but have failed to win the "Test of the Champion" at Belmont Park. The Belmont will be simulcast throughout the facility following Arlington's last race on Saturday.

Binny's Taste at the Track returns for the first of two events this season (also held September 12) and provides wine lovers the opportunity to sample hundreds of wines, MillerCoors products and limited craft beers while a live DJ performs on the Miller Lite Band Stage between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. The $40 pre-sale ticket includes admission, a Govino wine glass, wine and beer tasting, and three food sample tickets for fare from Chicagoland favorites Café Spiaggia, River Roast, Bar Toma, Jake Melnick's, and the Cowboy Grille. If the event is not sold out, walk-up tickets will be available for $50.
