Construction Coring Machine Slides into Alexian Brothers Medical Plaza Wall on Moon Lake Blvd, Hoffman Estates

Hoffman Estates police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:34 AM Tuesday to a report of some type of construction-related explosion that blew out a window at the Alexian Brothers Medical Plaza, 1786 Moon Lake Boulevard Hoffman Estates, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics arrived on the scene to discover that a construction coring machine had slide into the building on the northeast side of the building.

First responders received a report that the a glass window blew out and cut someone inside -- on the other side of the wall.

Firefighter/paramedics immediately went inside to investigate and assess injuries. A squad and/or engine crew worked to secure the construction equipment outside. The suppression crews reported no chemical hazards or other hazards outside the bulding.
