Rollover Crash, Driver Apparently Not Injured on North Kennicott Ave South of Dundee Road , Arlington Heights
Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:29 PM Thursday to a report of a rollover crash with injuries at Kennicott Ave and Shure Drive Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics arrived to discover a one-vehicle crash. A Toyota passenger car was rolled onto its roof.
The female driver was not injured. Apparently the vehicle was traveling southbound on Kennicott Avenue and failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle left the roadway near a Bike Lane sign and hit a small tree and an AT&T box.
The force of hitting the tree flipped the car onto its roof, but did not activate the air bags.
Buffalo Grove firefighter/paramedics responded with a ladder truck as part of an extrication response for a possible pin-in crash.
