Cortland's Garage Tavern & Grill is getting a little closer to opening Tuesday with a new sign
The tavern & grill that is replacing Harry's at 1 North Vail Avenue. New owners at the sight have been working for several months now building out a new interior.
A glimpse inside showed a lot of work still going on, but a large iron chandelier was hanging in the center over the main floor.
A new large window now faces south. Work on the front entrance stairs is still not complete, but a lot of contractors were at work this week.
No date has been released for the opening of the Cortland's Garage Tavern & Grill.
The owners already have proven themselves with the successful Cortland's Tavern & Grill at 1645 West Cortland Street, which is across the Kennedy Expressway from the Metra Clybourn Train Station.
The Garage Tavern Group also includes one of Lakeview's top sports bar & grills, Flagship Tavern & Grill on Belmont Avenue, The Stretch on North Clark Street, and Standard Bar & Grill on North Milwaukee Avenue.
