Gas Main Leak at Thayer Street and Pine Street, Mount Prospect

Mount Prospect police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:16 AM Tuesday to a gas leak at thanyer Street and Pine Street Mount Prospect, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report from a construction crew that they could smell gas and hear leaking from a gas main.

Thayer Street was immediately shut down in both directions, just north of the United States Post Office.
