Chicagoland weather radar shows storms developing ahead of a large band of storms that just crossed the Mississippi River about 6:45 p.m. A storm cell is tracking to arrive over Arlington Heights by about 7:45 p.m.

The larger band is at least two hours away and is likely to pass through the area about 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Although more storms could develop ahead of the larger band.
