Criminal Damage to Over 200 Vehicles in Libertyville -- at Dealerships and Neighborhoods
Police in Libertyville are investigating reports of hundreds of cars damaged by vandals after responding to the first report early Friday morning that a vehicle's tires had been slashed.
Officers searched the area while discovering additional criminal damage and found that more than 200 cars were damaged. Three different dealerships were affected along Milwaukee Avenue, but some vehicles were damaged in residential areas.
