Ben Franklin Bank Robbery on East Kensington Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 9:20 AM Thursday to a bank robbery at Ben Franklin 830 East Kensington Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that a man walked into the bank and presented a teller with a note saying he had a weapon and demanded money.

After receiving the money, the man fled on foot. No weapon was displayed, and no direction of travel of the suspect following the bank robbery was available

The offender was described as a male/white, possibly in his 50s, wearing a dark-colored jacket with a hood, sunglasses and khaki pants.

Arlington Heights police and the FBI investigated the bank robbery. The FBI is continuing the investigation.
