Theft at Xsport South on East Golf Rd, Fraudulent Attempt of Credit Card Use Fails, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 3:58 PM Monday of a theft at Xsport Fitness, 320 East Golf Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders entered into the victim's locked gym locker and removed the keys to his 2016 black Subaru station wagon from his gym bag. The offender or offenders proceeded to the parking lot near Xsport and entered the victim's vehicle, and removed his wallet from the center console. The wallet contained various IDs and credit cards.

The victim immediately notified the credit card companies of the theft and was alerted that an attempt to use the stolen credit cards was attempted unsuccessfully.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Monday, August 8, 2016 at 3:57 PM.

Several similar crimes have been reported at Xsport South and Xsport North in the past few days.
