Phone Outage? Crash on Devon Ave East of Arlington Heights Rd Hits Light Pole and AT&T Phone Box, Elk Grove Village

Elk Grove Village police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:10 AM Thursday to a report of crash with injuries at 90 East Devon Avenue Elk Grove Village, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of a crash involving a light pole near Brown's Chicken on Devon Avenue east of Arlington Heights Road.

Ambulance 7's crew on arrival reported one vehicle vs a light pole with one person inside the vehicle.

An AT&T phone box was also "taken out" on Devon Avenue just east of Elk Grove Village Road. AT&T notified. Phone service is possibly interrupted in the area -- not confirmed.
