Car Crash Into Zip Fitness Center on West Rand Rd Arlington Heights -- No Injuries

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 11:04 AM Wednesday to a report of a car vs building crash with unknown injuries at Zip Fitness, 50 West Rand Road Arlington Heights, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a car crashed into a fitness center building.

A caller reported an elderly couple were inside the vehicle, but that they weren't sure whether they were trapped or injured.

Police were first on the scene and reported no entrapment.

Engine 4's crew on arrival confirmed a car into the building by 11:08 a.m.

Paramedics were immediately checking on a male senior and female senior that were inside the vehicle, and no injuries were reported inside the fitness center.

Neither of the vehicle occupants appeared to have serious injuries, and both patients refused transportation to a hospital.

Firefighters used a Hurst cutter tool to remove the retail fitness center front window frame.

Hillside Towing removed the vehicle from the building.
