Retail Theft, Fleeing and Eluding from Hawthorn Mall, Vernon Hills
Vernon Hills police responded about 6:15 PM Saturday to a report of retail theft and aggravated fleeing and eluding at Macy's at Hawthorn Mall, 1 Hawthorn Road Vernon Hills, IL. Police alerted area police departments that two retail theft suspects fled from Macy's at Hawthorn Mall and were wanted for retail theft and aggravated fleeing and eluding.
Two suspects fled in a black 2007 Volkswagen Jetta. The suspects were described as two female blacks.
The vehicle was seen northbound I-94 from Route 60 after fleeing Hawthorn Mall and traveling eastbound on Route 60.
The crime is reported to have occurred at 6:15 p.m.
