Three Vehicles Burglarized on Woods Drive Near Rand Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:04 AM Thursday of a vehicle burglary in the block of 1600 Woods Drive Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders forced entry into the victim’s 2010 gray Toyota Corolla. The cost to repair a shattered window was unknown at the time of the police report.

Taken was a black cloth briefcase containing books and papers, valued at $50.

The crime is reported to have occurred  between Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 09:00 PM and Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 08:03 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 11:03 (hours: minutes).

Unknown offender(s) in the neighborhood also forced entry into a second vehicle -- a 2007 VW Rabbit. Taken was a Husky briefcase containing receipts, a passport, and cash. The cost to repair a damaged window was also unknown at the time of the police report.

The second vehicle was burglarized in about the same time frame

In a third crime, unknown offender(s) forced entry into a victim’s 2011 black Kia Forte. The victim’s laundry was removed from the large tote bag and left on the sidewalk. The cost to repair the damage to the vehicle's shattered window was unknown at the time of the police report.

The third crime is reported to have occurred between Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 09:30 PM and Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 07:45 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 10:15 (hours: minutes).
