Car Vs Bike Crash on Sutton Rd Near Irving Park Rd, Streamwood

Streamwood police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 11:30 AM Sunday to a report of car vs bicycle crash with injuries at Sutton Road and Irving Park Road Streamwood, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of a bicyclist hit by a vehicle on Sutton Road just south of the Fifth Third Bank.

Crews on arrival discovered a male bicyclist unconscious. A Flight for Life helicopter was requested to the scene.

The patient was transported to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital -- departing the crash scene landing zone by 12:35 p.m.
