Contractor Hits Gas Line Near House on Walnut Ct Near Kingsbury Dr, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:40 AM Monday to a report of a natural gas leak near a house at 2529 Walnut Court Arlington Heights, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of a gas leak after a contractor hit a connection line to the house which could not be shut off by the valve.

Engine 4's crew on arrival reported nothing showing. Nicor was requested to respond to the scene while firefighters monitored gas levels. Firefighters reported gas was dissipating.
