Firefighters Investigate Floor That Seemed Hot To Touch at Condo on East Central Rd Near Arthur Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:29 PM Tuesday received a report of a warm floor with suspicion of an electrical fire at Dana Point Condominiums, 1415 East Central Road Arlington Heights, Il. Firefighter/paramedics received a report that a resident thought the floor was warm with suspicion of an electrical fire in the unit below.

The caller in a unit above the suspected unit reported that the floor felt hot (which would be the ceiling from the unit below)

Engine 3's crew on arrival reported a 4-story multi-family unit building with nothing showing.

No automatic alarms were activated, and firefighters at the door of the suspected unit reported the door did not feel hot.

Firefighters were checking with maintenance to see if they could inspect the interior of the unit, and were monitoring situation.

Firefighters were able to visually inspect the unit from the rear of the building, and the situation seemed to be clear inside the unit.
