Witnesses Describe 2 "Cross-Dressers" Asked to Exit Hot Tub at Xsport North, Man Takes Swing at Police, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 5:59 AM Saturday to Xsport Fitness, 960 West Dundee Road Arlington Heights, IL. A witness at Xsport said that police were called to respond to a report that two men who appeared to be "cross dressers" were "messing around" in the hot tub.

Witnesses at the fitness center said that two men were possibly "messing around" in a sexual manner as early as 3:00 a.m. in the hot tub in the swimming pool area.

Witnesses said that staff at Xsport told the two men that they could not do what they were doing in the hot tub. The witness said the men then disregarded the Xsport staff member and told the staff member to mind their own business.

The staff member then called police. When police arrived they told the men to leave the hot tub, and got the men out of the hot tub.

A witness said he saw a man take a swing at a police officer, and then he saw the police officer take down the man to the floor, and place him in custody.

Arlington Heights police report they arrested Torres Francisco Morales, age 24, of the block of 400 East Circle Hill in Arlington Heights July 29, 2017 at 6:10 a.m. Morales was charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer.

There was no confirmation whether one of the men who were described as a "cross dressers" was the same man that Arlington Heights police report they arrested.
