Wheeling police responded about 11:00 PM Friday to an armed robbery at 1351 Wheeling Road Wheeling, IL. Police received a report that a victim was robbed by an armed man near a printing and marketing/advertising business.
The suspect was described as a male/white, age 18, wearing sunglasses, a black hooded sweatshirt, and dark pants.
The suspect was described driving a red Honda van.
The suspect displayed a black handgun.
The location of the crime was near Segerdahl Graphics and SG360° -- a Segerdahl company involved in printing and marking graphics.
The crime is reported to have occurred at 11:00 p.m. and was initially unknown whether the robbery occurred at the business or on the street near the business.
