Serious Allergic Reaction to Bee or Hornet Sting on Mill Creek Drive Near Arlington Heights Rd, Buffalo Grove

Buffalo Grove police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 3:20 PM Saturday to a report of a serious allergic reaction to a bee sting on Mill Creek Drive near the intersection of Mill Creek Drive and Arlington Heights Road Buffalo Grove, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics learned that a man suffered anaphylactic after being stung by three insects.

The adult male experienced life-threatening anaphylaxis reaction to bee, wasp or hornet stings.

Paramedics were not aware what exact type of insect stung the man.

Ambulance 25's crew transported one male patient to Northwest Community Hospital with extra paramedics aboard the ambulance for Advanced Life Support.

The man was reported to have survived the allergic reaction overnight at Northwest Community Hospital.
