Extrication Crash on EB Higgins Rd West of Arlington Heights Rd, Elk Grove Village

Elk Grove Village police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 6:15 AM Thursday to a report of a crash with entrapment, 42°01'44.9"N 87°59'42.6"W (Higgins Road and Arlington Heights Road, Elk Grove Village, Il). Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a vehicle was crashed into the trees on HIggins Road near Route 53. The crash was actually closer to Arlington Heights Road.

Crew on arrival reports vehicle in the trees with severe damage.

On assessment, crew reports heavy entrapment on the driver's side.

Extrication complete by 6:30 a.m.
