Man Trapped in Pickup Truck Crash Airlifted from Tefft Middle School on Irving Park Rd, Streamwood

Streamwood police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 3:58 AM Tuesday to a report of a crash a pickup truck crash with entrapment, Irving Park Road and Alexander Avenue Streamwood, Il. Police were first on the scene and reported a man with his legs trapped.

Engine 31's crew on arrival reported a man inside a pickup truck that was off the road into a fence.

The crew reported a man was trapped with his legs under the dashboard. Engine 31's crew was going to work on extrication.

Flight for Life was requested and a second ambulance were requested to the scene by 4:09 a.m.

The patient was extricated and the Flight for Life helicopter was on scene by about 4:48 a.m.

The patient was transported by Flight for Life to Level I Trauma Center in Park Ridge.
