Wheeling police responded about 3:30 AM Saturday to a case involving an aggravated assault with a weapon at McHenry Road and Cedar Run Drive Wheeling, IL. Police received a report of a threat involving a threat with a firearm. The offender used a black revolver, and left the weapon at the scene.
The offender is described as a male/black, about 35 years-old with dredlocks. The victim apparently knew the identity of the offender.
The offender was driving a black Nissan Rogue, and left the scene in an unknown direction of travel.
