Schaumburg police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 2:28 PM Monday to a report of a person found dead by hanging near the Schaumburg Park District Spring Valley Heritage Farm Visitor Center, 201 South Plum Grove Road Schaumburg, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a person was found dead by hanging near the Schaumburg Park District Spring Valley Heritage Farm Visitor Center.

The incident was reported as an apparent suicide; however a police death investigation is underway.
