Purse Taken from Car While Aldi Shopping Cart Returned to Corral Near Golf Rd and Goebbert Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 6:31 PM Friday of a theft at Aldi, 550 East Golf Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders removed the victim's purse from the front passenger seat of her unlocked gray 2005 Toyota Corolla.

The victim loaded her car with groceries she had purchased, and placed her purse inside her car. Then the victim left her car briefly unattended while she returned the shopping cart to the Aldi shopping cart corral.

The purse was described as a green 12-inch purse containing $26.00 cash along with the victim's drivers license and credit cards.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 6:30 PM.
