Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:43 AM Sunday to a report of an activated fire alarm and a call that there was a fire in the kitchen, 715 West Central Road Arlington Heights, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of an activated fire alarm and a 911 call that there was a fire in the kitchen.

Engine 3's crew on arrival reported nothing showing. Engine 3's crew reported the fire was out, and crews were working on ventilation by 4:53 a.m. Ambulance 3's crew was requested for an employee exposed to dry chem fire extinguisher. The employee refused medical transportation.
