Des Plaines, Cook County Sheriff's police and North Maine firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:03 AM Sunday to a report an Activated Alarm at The Landings, 9396 Landings Lane Des Plaines, Il. The fire was initially reported as an Activated Fire Alarm at 7:42 am. Battalion Chief 1 on arrival reported fire coming from the top floor by 7:45 am.

The fire was elevated by 8:03 a.m. to
MABAS Division 3 Box Alarm on Box #1F-121 for a fire in a 6-story condo/apartment building.

The fire was elevated to a 2nd Alarm by 8:31 a.m. and a 3rd Alarm by 8:34 a.m.
