Arlington Heights police received a report about 12:26 PM Monday of a retail theft at Target 1700 East Rand Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders took merchandise without paying and left the Target store.
An unknown offender described as a male white wearing a baseball hat, a brown jacket and jeans took merchandise for sale and concealed it in a shopping cart, then left the store without paying for the merchandise. The total value of the merchandise was approximately $320.00 USD. A male suspect with similar description is believed to be the same suspect that was reported by several other Target locations in the area reporting retail theft at their locations.
Police did not initially describe the merchandise that was stolen.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Monday, February 11, 2019 between 12:23 PM and 12:25 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 0:02 (hours: minutes).
