Retail Theft at Target Store on East Rand Rd, Arlington Heights -- Second Shoplifter in Same Day

Arlington Heights police received a report about 12:26 PM Monday of a retail theft at Target 1700 East Rand Road Arlington Heights, IL. An unknown offender described as a male Hispanic took merchandise for sale while concealing the merchandise. The suspect left the store without paying for the merchandise. The total value of the merchandise was approximately $399.00 USD. A male suspect with similar description is believed to be the same suspect that was reported by several other Target locations in the area reporting retail theft at their locations.

Also a suspect described as a male/white shoplifter took concealed merchandise without paying just before 12:30 p.m.

Police did not initially describe the merchandise that was stolen.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Monday, February 11, 2019 between 8:30 PM and 8:35 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 0:05 (hours: minutes).
