Attempted Apartment Burglary on South Goebbert Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 3:31 PM of a residential burglary in the block of 2300 South Goebbert Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders attempted to gain entry into a private apartment by breaking a lock and prying open a door but was unsuccessful. The resident arrived home to find a chip in the door and a loose deadbolt. It does not appear entry was made into the apartment.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Friday, March 1, 2019 between 12:00 PM and 3:30 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 3:30 (hours: minutes).
