Criminal Damage to Property: Book Exchange Box Damaged on Frederick St, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 3:01 PM Thursday of criminal damage to property in the block of 400 East Frederick Street Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders used a black marker to write an offensive sentence and draw an obscene gesture on the side of a book exchange box. Two holes were also punctured into both sides of the box. The cost to repair the damage is approximately $200.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 10:00 PM and Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 3:00 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 17:00 (hours: minutes).
