Minivan Rolls onto Roof After Crash with White Sedan at Northwest Highway and Ridge Avenue, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 3:46 PM Saturday to a report of a rollover crash with injuries at Route 14 and Ridge Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that one person was still in a minivan that was rolled over. Firefighter/paramedics were able to remove the female driver from the vehicle out the driver's side door opening in a short time.

Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics from Ambulance 1's crew transported the woman to Northwest Community Hospital. She was initially believed to have injuries that were not life-threatening.

According to witnesses at the scene, a white sedan was westbound on Northwest Highway (US 14) and struck a minivan that was northbound on Ridge Avenue/Walnut Avenue.

The minivan rolled and landed on its roof after the crash.

The male driver of the white sedan was cited by Arlington Heights Police Department for disobeying a traffic control device.
