Rollover Crash with Injuries at Central Road and Kirchoff Road Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 6:10 PM Wednesday to a report of a rollover crash with entrapment at Central Road and Kirchoff Road Arlington Heights, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that one vehicle was on it side with the driver still inside the vehicle. Police first on the scene reported that the driver in the rolled vehicle was alert and talking.

First fire crew on arrival reported one person in a vehicle with all others ambulatory. Firefighters removed the windshield and extricated the patient through the opening by 6:25 p.m. The female driver was transported to Northwest Community Hospital by Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics.

The crash involved the Honda SUV, a white Honda Accord, and a small blue vehicle. According to the owner, the blue vehicle was just purchased.

No other people initially reported any injuries.

A witness on the scene reported the Honda SUV driver had a green light while traveling eastbound on Kirchoff Road to eastbound Central Road. The witness said the driver of the white Honda Accord disobeyed the red light while westbound on Central Road, and hit the Honda SUV on the driver's side, which caused it to roll. From the force of the crash, the white Honda Accord then careened to the right, and head westbound in the eastbound lanes of Kirchoff Road and hit the passenger side of the blue vehicle.
