Small Fire in Kitchen Vent at McDonald's on Kirchoff Rd, Rolling Meadows

Rolling Meadows police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 9:39 AM Thursday to a report of a fire at McDonald's, 3140 Kirchoff Road Rolling Meadows, Il. An interior fire crew reported a small fire in a vent above the grease in the kitchen. Firefighters were hitting the fire with a dry chemical extinguisher. Firefighters were working on ventilation the restaurant by about 9:56 a.m.
