Arlington Heights police received a report about 3:40 PM Friday of a theft at Verizon WIreless, 375 East Palatine Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that two unknown female offenders concealed merchandise for sale on their persons before leaving the store without paying for the merchandise. The merchandise taken was not initially described by the police department. The total retail value of the merchandise is approximately $200. The first offender is described as female, black with long hair and wearing a turquoise headband, a black jacket and carrying a purple handbag. The second offender is described as female, black wearing a gray headband and a purple jacket. The crime is reported to have occurred on Friday, January 10, 2020 between 3:34 PM and 3:39 PM. Snow Plow Driver Discovers Bicyclist Down on Crabtree Drive Near Waverly Drive, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 6:55 AM Saturday to a report of a bicyclist down Crabtree Drive and Waverly Drive Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a snow plow driver discovered a female bicyclist down on Crabtree Drive just south of Waverly Drive. The caller reported that the bicyclist was conscious, but not responding to communication. Initially, there was no indication how long the bicyclist was down, or whether she was hit by another vehicle. Vehicle Burglary of Crashed Vehicle on Golf Rd Near McDonald's, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 11:02 PM Saturday of a vehicle burglary in the block of 45 East Golf Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders unlawfully entered a vehicle that was left unattended on the roadway following an automobile accident. The driver and owner of the vehicle exited the vehicle following a single vehicle crash into a brick retaining wall. The driver did not initially report any injuries. The driver went inside the adjacent Chase Bank to wait for a tow truck to assist him. The vehicle was left unlocked during this time with a wallet and cell phone left unattended in the vehicle. Suspected DUI Arrest After Hit-and-Run Crash at Arlington Heights Rd and Palatine Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police arrested a suspected DUI driver at about 12:10 a.m. Saturday after a crash at Arlington Heights Road and Palatine Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report of a hit-and-run crash and located the suspected offender in a Toyota Camry in the westbound lanes of Oakton Street just east of Dunton Avenue. No injuries were initially reported. Police transported the female driver in custody suspect of DUI to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters. The driver's vehicle with front end damage was towed to a police holding area. The victim's vehicle was also towed from the scene at Arlington Heights Road and Palatine Road.
