Retail Theft, $900 Loss from Shoplifter at Target on Rand Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:00 PM Saturday of a retail theft at 1700 East Rand Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown male/back offender concealed merchandise for sale on his person before leaving the store without paying for the merchandise.

The offender is described as a male/black, approximately 20-30 years old and wearing a dark colored jacket with a yellow interior, black pants and a black winter hat.

The offender was last seen leaving the area as a passenger in a tan Ford Explorer with an unknown license plate. The total retail value of the stolen merchandise is approximately $900.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Saturday, February 22, 2020 between 7:57 PM and 7:59 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 0:02 (hours: minutes).
